About Us

Kristi was born and raised in North Dakota, graduating from BHS & attending UND, earning a Bachelor in Accountancy from the School of Business & Public Administration.  After college, she moved with her family to Arizona & pursued her life-long interest in horses.  She began a career as a Professional Equestrian, became a Licensed Equestrian Judge as well as a teacher at Scottsdale Community College in Equestrian Science.  During this time, she operated her own successful full service Show Barn as well as being active in the Scottsdale community.

A tireless multi-tasker, Kristi kept busy with a variety of different interests.  She served as a Board Member for the recipient club of the 2006 Sterling Award, presented by the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce to the Outstanding Community Organization. She also served on several Youth-related Committees, Vice-Chair of a National Youth Committee, participated in Local Event Planning, and Church organizations.   As her young son neared school-age, she felt the “pull” to come home, desiring the rich quality of life for both of them.

She founded “It’s About Time!” based on a combination of experience and the realization of the increasing challenge to achieve Work/Life balance.  Priding herself on resourcefulness, a positive attitude, and excellent customer service, Kristi & It’s About Time! Are anxious to tackle your “To Do” lists & Create Time for Your Life!
